Vallée-de-l’Or
It’s an unusual name. It evokes a basement full of precious metals: a story worthy of the Wild West!
Vallée-de-l’Or is a regional county municipality (RCM) created on April 8, 1981. Its capital is the town of Val-d’Or. The Vallée-de-l’Or RCM comprises six municipalities: three towns, one parish municipality and two municipalities without designation.
